Support – An Athlete’s life

Many a times I feel demotivated to run or to stay fit. I was thinking why people feel the same thing ,

No doubt that living fit and healthy life is not easy these days and it is going to be even more difficult as more advancement in technology will come , even after that I see lot of inspirational people around me , why I could not do it , why I cannot be as fit as other people are . okay let me ask a question to all the runners and fitness freaks out there, after your marathon or any race or any event who will prepare your recovery healthy food or your recovery drinks ( protein shakes and all ) when u reach home ? How many of you prepare your own food even after your race , I am dam sure your mother , Gf, wife , Brother , Friend or someone will look after of you after your race or after your daily workout . There is business concept called outsourcing – which says that all the less important work outsource it to other people and concentrate on primary work , Same applies in fitness and in sportsman’s life . People concentrate on their primary work which is to train harder and leave rest (support and recovery) upon your family , Gfs or to someone.

Here is a task i want you to do

Note your daily activities and see how many time people around you helped you in some or other way , it could be preparing your food , washing your sports outfit , massage you after your race and etc etc .

You will notice its almost impossible to become a champion and achieve your goals without this support . I live alone here in Abu Dhabi  so i have to manage all these things on my own , the reason why i am less motivated and become lazy at times is lack of support that i require , Lets say thanks to all those people who support us in our daily lives and make them happy , go give them a hug or a kiss say that you need them ..
